RUSAL’s RAS net profit plummets to 71.5 bln rbl in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Nov 1 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL plummeted by around 52% on the year to 71.5 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report late on Monday.

Revenue shrank by about 55% on the year to 71.306 billion rubles in the period, while sales profit plunged by 56.5% to 69.416 billion rubles. Pretax profit decreased by 29.6% to 107.343 billion rubles

But other incomes jumped by 1,110% to 34.296 billion rubles from about 2.858 billion rubles.
